Lexi Palmisano (Woburn, Mass.) secured one of the spots on the Second Team. The pair becomes the first Saint Anselm student-athletes to be selected to the All-Region teams from the IWLCA since the 2016 season.
The Hawks matched a program record with 13 wins in 2023, joining the 2014 team as the only squads to reach that mark in a single season. Saint Anselm was downed by Pace University in the Northeast-10 Conference Semifinals after picking up the program's third-ever win in the conference postseason at Bentley University on May 2. The Hawks closed the season with a 13-5 overall record and an 8- 4 record in conference play.
Driscoll, the NE10's Goalkeeper of the Year and First Team All-Conference selection, ranked 10th in the conference with a 9.82 goals-against average while ranking second in total saves at 172 and seventh in save percentage at 0.513. Driscoll started in all 18 games from the Hawks cage in 2023.
The sophomore made 10 or more saves in contests this season including a career-high 17 at Adelphi on Apr. 1. Down the stretch of the regular season and into the conference postseason, Driscoll made double digit saves in six consecutive games from Apr. 15 through May 2.
Palmisano, an All-NE10 Second Team selection, concluded her senior season with 61 points coming from 50 goals and 11 assists. Palmisano ranked second on the team in goals while ranking third in both assists and points. The senior led Saint Anselm with 22 caused turnovers and collected a team-high 105 draw controls.
The senior netted five goals and added three assists for eight points in a win over Charleston (W.V.) on Mar. 19, marking her career-high in points. Also in that contest, Palmisano became the 11th student-athlete in program history to reach the 100-career goals mark. The senior recorded at least one goal in 17 games and went for multiple scores in 14 of those games.
