CICERO, N.Y. – The Saint Anselm College golf team completed the first day of action at the Le Moyne Fall Invitational in 15th place out of 19 teams, carding a 32-over 320 collectively.
Rollins leads the 19 team field with a three-over 291 while Southern New Hampshire's Matt Paradis is five-under through the first round. The Hawks return to action Saturday, Oct. 14 for the second day of action at the Lake Shore Yacht & Country Club.
Freshman Alec Brunelle leads all Saint Anselm golfers with a four-over 76, tying for 27th place in a crowded field of 106 competitors. Junior Stephen Hunt carded a 78 through the first round and finished in a tie for 46th place. Classmate Billy Argus turned in a score of 82, 10-over par, to place 80th.
Senior Robbie Cole shot an 84 for the Hawks in his first action since the Bowdoin Invitational on Sept. 9-10. Sophomore Patrick McLoughlin made his season debut on Friday, shooting an 88 to complete the day.
