Men’s cross country competes at Division II/III Challenge

KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Freshman Ryan Sullivan finished 85th overall for the Saint Anselm College men's cross country on Saturday as the Hawks competed at the Division II/Division III Cross Country Challenge.

Saint Anselm finished 14th out of 19 teams, registering 430 points in the 8K race hosted by Kutztown University. The Hawks will head to the Pop Crowell Invitational next Saturday, Sept. 23, hosted by Gordon College in Wenham, Mass.

Sullivan recorded a time of 29:25 while classmate Jordan Cook was his team's second place finisher (30:14). Brodie Deshaies and Adam Pakalnis posted times of 31:11 and 31:33, respectively, followed by Anthony Galasso's 145th place time of 31:52.

Freshmen Ben Sweesy and Hugh Cameron finished outside of the top-five finishers for Saint Anselm, completing the course in 32:14 and 32:33.
