SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – Junior Tayla Trask (Lincoln, Maine) of the Saint Anselm College softball team was named the Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week for the period ending March 9, the league office announced Monday morning.
In her five starts this week, Trask went 5-0, pitching three complete-game shutouts. She kept her ERA to 0.78, striking out 43 batters over 36 innings pitched. She gave up just 18 hits, keeping the opposing team batting average to just .137.
Trask and the Hawks return to action Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. when they play a double header with Pace.
