CENTERVILLE, Mass. – Freshman Kendra Bonczar (Milford, N.H.) of the Saint Anselm College women's soccer team was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 3, the ECAC announced Tuesday evening.
Bonczar, who was selected as the Northeast-10 Rookie of the Week on Monday, scored a pair of game-winning goals in a 2-0 week for Saint Anselm. She scored in the 25th minute against Stonehill in a 1-0 win and then lifted the Hawks to victory against Le Moyne with a goal in double overtime.
The Hawks, who earned the sixth seed in the Northeast-10 Championship, suffered a 2-1 loss at No. 3 Adelphi University in their first quarterfinal tilt since 2009.
