Women's Cross Country Places 11th at NCAA East Regional

NASHUA, N.H. - Senior Allyn Doyle (Merrimack, N.H.) finished 42nd overall as the Saint Anselm College women's cross country team finished 11th at the 28-team NCAA East Regional hosted by the University of Massachusetts Lowell on Sunday afternoon at Mines Falls Park in Nashua, N.H.

The Hawks totaled 334 points, while Stonehill College won the meet with 67 points.

Doyle completed the 6K run in a time of 23 minutes, 17.5 seconds.

Junior Joanna Marczyk (Stratford, Conn.) and freshman Erika Pakalnis (Waterbury, Conn.) placed 66th and 68th, respectively, in times of 24:06.1 and 24:07.6.

Junior Katharine Meinertz (Smithfield, R.I.) crossed the finish line in 73rd at 24:14.1.

Classmate Stephanie Kearsley (Manchester, N.H.) rounded out the Hawks' scorers by placing 85th in the 192-runner field in a time of 24:27.9.
