Women's Cross Country earns USTFCCCA Academic Award

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Saint Anselm College women's cross country team earned a United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II Team Academic Award.

Saint Anselm was among 137 women's NCAA Division II teams to earn All-Academic honors from the USTFCCCA. To qualify for this award, programs must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and scored at their NCAA regional meet.

The Saint Anselm College women's cross country team finished 18th out of 28 teams at the NCAA East Regional held at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds back on Nov. 5, 2016. Shannon Conley led the Hawks with a time of 22:15.2, while Liberty Gendron finished the course in 25:09.4.
