MANSFIELD, Mass. – One-hundred-thirty-three Saint Anselm College student-athletes were recognized for their work in the classroom as the Fall 2017 Northeast-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll was announced by the conference office on Friday.
To be eligible for selection to the Northeast-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded a minimum 3.0 semester grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) during the fall 2017 semester.
Student-athletes from 16 different teams were included on the list, including five with double-digit honorees. Football had the highest number of selections with 18, followed by women's soccer with 16. Women's lacrosse (14), men's lacrosse (13) and baseball (10) were also in double figures.
The list of 133 Saint Anselm student-athletes included four with perfect 4.0 GPAs and 36 that achieved a GPA of at least 3.50.
The Northeast-10 Conference is an association of 15 NCAA Division II colleges and universities located in New England and New York that is committed to supporting balanced academic and athletic opportunities for more than 6,500 student-athletes. Each year, 4,500 of those student-athletes compete in conference championships in 24 sports, making the NE10 the largest DII conference in the country in terms of sport sponsorship.
