Debuting in the Fall of 2017, the special award was created to allow the Department of Athletics to recognize individuals that are instrumental to the College's efforts to offer a first-class, transformational student-athlete experience. The awards are issued each month during the academic year to two individuals employed by the institution outside of athletics.
Recipients will be colleagues, faculty, staff or administrators who advocate for Saint Anselm student-athletes and go above and beyond in their contributions each day on the Hilltop.
Vachon, who has worked on the Hilltop since 1981, is responsible for the Accounts Payable process for the entire College, including vendor invoices, employee reimbursements and student refunds. She assists with the institution's credit card program and cash receipt process as well as many other duties that benefit Hawks student-athletes behind the scenes.
Marchand, a member of the Facility Services team, is an experienced carpenter who has been employed by Saint Anselm for 27 years. He has played a pivotal role in several recent Athletics projects, including the varsity team film room, new coaches' offices and the popular Student-Athlete Success Center.
