Courtney Carver is entering her first season at Saint Anselm in 2019-20. She will serve as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Hawks.
Carver comes to the Hilltop after graduating from West Virginia University in 2019 with a degree in Athletic Training. At West Virginia, Carver worked alongside certified athletic trainers and aided with treatments, taping, injury evaluation, rehabilitation and hydration.
During her undergraduate career, she conducted rotations at HealthWorks Rehab & Fitness and assisted the athletic training operations for West Virginia's women's volleyball, football, track & field, cross country, women's tennis and men's soccer programs.
Carver has collected athletic training experience with the Morgantown Marathon, the Manning Passing Academy, the Bay State Summer Games, the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (Camp Maude Eaton) and has attended the National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA) Clinical Symposium.
A native of nearby Andover, Mass., Carver holds certifications as a performance enhancement specialist from NASM, basic life support (CPR) from AHA and is BOC certified. She holds memberships with NATA, the Massachusetts Athletic Training Association and the Eastern Athletic Training Association.
