NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Saint Anselm College women's lacrosse team closes the 2023 season ranked No. 16 in NCAA Division II according to the final ILWomen/IWLCA poll released Tuesday.
 
The 2023 Hawks matched a program record with 13 wins in 2023, joining the 2014 team as the only squads to reach that mark in a single season. The Hawks closed the season with a 13-5 overall record and an 8- 4 record in conference play.
 
Saint Anselm was downed by eventual national champion Pace University in the Northeast-10 Conference Semifinals after picking up the program's third-ever win in the conference postseason at Bentley University on May 2.
 
Sophomore goalkeeper Elizabeth Driscoll (Marblehead, Mass.) earned All-American Honorable Mention accolades from USA Lacrosse Magazine and joined teammate Lexi Palmisano (Woburn, Mass.) on the IWLCA All-East Region Team. Driscoll also collected NE10 Goalkeeper of the Year honors.
