Saint Anselm, projected to finish seventh in the highly-competitive Northeast Division of the Northeast-10 Conference, returns its two NE10 All-Rookie team picks as sophomore second baseman Matthew Butigian (Plainview, N.Y.) and pitcher Will Conaton (Windham, N.H.) will join a squad with 19 newcomers.

The team also welcomes back a strong senior core, consisting of senior outfielder Oscar Larranaga (Tucson, Ariz.), pitcher JJ Dunn (Nashua, N.H.), pitcher Preston Yerrington (Manchester, N.H.), infielder Tyler McKeon (Rutland, Mass.) and outfielder Connor Parent (Katy, Texas).

"We are excited for the upcoming 2019 season," said Cenatiempo, who is entering his second campaign on the Hilltop. "We have a challenging schedule with great opponents that will test us. We look forward to the opportunity to prove ourselves against quality opposition."

The Hawks will open the campaign on Saturday, Feb. 16, taking on Indiana (Pa.) and East Stroudsburg in Holly Springs, N.C. After capping the three-game stint in North Carolina with a neutral site game against Le Moyne, Saint Anselm will battle USciences in a three-game series starting on Sunday, Feb. 23.

Saint Anselm heads to Georgia for four games against Albany State, an NCAA Division II Tournament participant that will span the first three days of March. The Georgia swing concludes with three games against West Georgia and Paine on Mar. 5-6. Heading northward, the Hawks will take on another Division II Tournament from a year ago, Mercyhurst, along with Kutztown and Lock Haven from Mar. 8-10 in Wilson, N.C.

Another three games will be played outside of New England starting Saturday, Mar. 16. The Hawks will battle Clarion twice and play on the campus of East Stroudsburg before Northeast-10 Conference play begins at American International on Saturday, Mar. 23. The first scheduled home game for Saint Anselm is slated for Tuesday, Apr. 2 against Saint Michael's.

In total, the Northeast-10 Conference saw five of its programs earn spots at the East Regional, hosted by the 2019 projected top finisher in the Southwest Division, New Haven. Southern New Hampshire was predicted to top the Northeast Division, followed by Franklin Pierce and Merrimack, while New Haven was trailed by Le Moyne and Adelphi on the other side of the poll.
