Student-athletes represent Saint Anselm at Senior Bowl contests

MANCHESTER, N.H. – Seniors Maddie Bressler (Franklin, Mass.) and Brooke Haskell (Winslow, Maine) of the Saint Anselm College field hockey team and classmate Corey Murray (Scituate, Mass.) of the Hawks women's soccer program recently competed in Senior Bowl games for their respective sports.

Playing in the Victory Sports Tours/National Field Hockey Coaches' Association Division II Senior Game this past Friday in Pittsburgh, Pa., Bressler tipped home the game-winning goal for her team off a pass from Pace's Halley Rose. Haskell helped to backstop the team to a 2-2 decision before Bressler's late-game heroics.

Murray participated in the New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl this past Saturday and potted two goals in the second game of the afternoon. Playing for the "Neon Trees", Murray scored each goal in a 2-1 victory over "Le Grande Oranje" and finished the day as the overall leader in goal scoring.
