Paul Faison returns for his 13th season on the bench as a member of the Saint Anselm men’s basketball staff.
Since coming to the Hilltop, Faison has assisted Head Coach Keith Dickson and the Hawks to two Northeast-10 Conference Championships (2005-06, 2016-17). Since the 2005-06 season, Faison has assisted Saint Anselm to a 227-124 record and over 150 wins against league opponents, qualifying for postseason play in 11 seasons during that span.
Faison began his coaching career at former Northeast-10 Conference member UMass Lowell, serving as an Assistant Coach from 1986-89 and helping the River Hawks to the 1988 NCAA Division II Championship. From 1989 to 1996, Faison was the Associate Head Coach at the University of New Hampshire and went on to serve as the General Manager/Head Coach of the New Hampshire Thunderloons of the USBL.
A 1980 graduate of Bentley University with a degree in General Business, Faison was a standout basketball player for the Falcons, earning induction into the Bentley Hall of Fame in 1997. Appearing in 97 career games, Faison scored 1,057 career points to average 10.9 per game and was a .559 career shooter from the floor (397-for-710), ranking seventh all-time in team history. His .843 free throw percentage (263-for-312) stands as the third-best career rate of all-time. He capped a storied career with NABC Division II All-District Third Team honors in 1980.
He currently resides in nearby Hooksett, N.H., with his wife, Jennifer.
