AT SAINT ANSELM

2024-25: Keene appeared in all six meets for Saint Anselm in his junior season...finished 20th at the Shacklette Invitational with a time of 30:24.7... recorded his season-low 8k time at the NEICAAA Cross Country Championships on October 11th, with a time of 27:31.5... competed in the NE10 Cross Country Championship on October 27th, logging a time of 27:48.1... Keene closed out his season with a collegiate 10k PR at the NCAA Division II East Region Cross Country Championship on November 9th, navigating the course in 34:24.1.

2023-24: Competed in five of the six cross country meets for Saint Anselm during his sophomore season…Opened the season at the Shacklette Invitational where he finished in the top-20 after posting an 8k time of 30:40…Finished 53^rd in a field of over 150 runners by logging a 28:30 8k time at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational…Saw his best performance of the season at the NE10 Conference Championship where he navigated the 8k course in 27:28…Recorded a season-low 10k time of 34:26 at the NCAA Division II East Region Cross Country Championships.

2022-23: Keene competed in five of the six meets for the Hawks in his first year...He made his debut for Saint Anselm at the 40th Annual Schacklette Cross Country Invitational finishing as the top runner for the Hawks in sixth place with a time of 28:55.1...He posted his best 8k time on September 30th at the Lehigh Paul Short Invitational clocking in at 27:13.1...Keene finished 105th at the NCAA Division II East Region Cross Country Championship...Compete in an unofficial spring track and field meet on March 31st placing 16th overall with a time of 17:04.78 in the 5,000-meter event. 

BEFORE SAINT ANSELM: Graduate of Kennebunk HS…Part of the track and field and cross country teams for the Rams…Was an honors student throughout his academic career…Maine State and New England qualifier…First Team All-Conference selection.

PERSONAL: Son of Rj and Kate…Both Rj and Kate are Saint Anselm graduates and Kate was part fot he women’s cross country team…Brother of William and Hannah…Undeclared major…Enjoys surfing and skiing.
