DANIELS, W. Va. – Competing in the second-to-last round of the NCAA Division II Men's Golf East/Atlantic Regional, junior Stephen Hunt recorded a second round score of 78 on Tuesday at The Resort at Glade Springs.
Entering the day in 10th place, Hunt slipped to 27th with a second round score of 78 (plus-6). Representing Saint Anselm for the second-straight season at NCAA Regionals, Hunt posted back-to-back pars before back-to-back double bogeys on his third and fourth holes of the day. He finished strong, however, recording two birdies on the front nine.
Minwoo Park from Concordia (N.Y.) jumped two spots to rank first as an individual, shooting a field-leading 69, four strokes better than the second place finisher on the day. Franklin Pierce holds a one stroke lead over Concordia (N.Y.), carding a 591 as a team.
Hunt will tee off at 8:40 a.m. on the 10th hole to conclude the tournament on Wednesday.
