Head coach Frank Driscoll returned to his alma mater in April of 2000 to take the helm of the golf program. A 1975 graduate of Saint Anselm, Driscoll was a four-year player on the golf team, and was named captain and the Raymond F. Lee Most Valuable Player Award recipient in his senior year.

Since taking over the golf program, Driscoll's impact has been evident, as the teams have seen more and more success over recent years. A number of Driscoll's players have been named to the All-New England teams, as well as earning Northeast-10 All-Conference accolades. In 2017, Stephen Hunt qualified for the NCAA Tournament, finishing seventh in the 107-golfer field for Saint Anselm.

Driscoll retired from the plumbing supply industry in 2000 and spent time teaching U.S. history at Abington (Mass.) High School. He lives in his native Hingham, Mass., with his wife, Kelly, and has two sons, Frank and Thomas, who graduated from Saint Anselm and Susquehanna University, respectively.
