Soucy named NEHC Goaltender of the Week

MANSFIELD, Mass. - Sophomore Colin Soucy of the Saint Anselm College men's hockey team was named the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) Goaltender of the Week for games through Sunday, Jan. 1, as announced on Monday afternoon.

In just his second start of the season, Soucy stopped 26-of-27 shots as Saint Anselm downed Manhattanville 2-1 to win the Middlebury Holiday Classic on Saturday. The 26 saves were a career-high for the sophomore, who made nine stops in the final period as the Hawks rallied for the win.

Soucy and the Hawks return to New England Hockey Conference play at UMass Boston on Friday, Jan. 6 at 7 p.m.
