MANSFIELD, Mass. - Sophomore forward Bryan Green of the Saint Anselm College men's hockey team was named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week, as announced on Monday afternoon.
For the week, Green totaled three goals and one assist for four points in two games. The sophomore had two goals, including the game-winner 1:57 into overtime, and an assist and was +3 in a 3-2 overtime victory over Franklin Pierce on Tuesday. His assist came on Brian Cameron's game-tying goal at 8:45 of the third period. Green also scored a late goal for the Hawks in a 6-1 defeat at No. 2 Norwich on Saturday.
Green's selection marked the first time he has been named the NE10 Player of the Week and the second time this season a Saint Anselm player has earned the accolade.
Saint Anselm travels to New England College on Saturday, Jan. 28 for a 7 p.m. contest.
