Verrier helped the Hawks go 1-1-1 over the week, posting four points (2-2=4). During a 4-3 setback against Colby on Dec. 31, he tied the game just 50 seconds into the second period after forcing a turnover in the Mules defensive end. He also assisted on a power play goal with 59 seconds left in the second stanza. During Saint Anselm's 6-4 win against Manhattanville on Friday, Jan. 4, Verrier assisted on a man-advantage goal late in the second period. He then went on to score the game-tying tally with 40 seconds left in the second stanza.

As a junior, Verrier is tied for the team lead with six assists and tied for second on the team with nine points. His plus-eight on ice rating is also good for the team lead. He also becomes the third men's ice hockey student-athlete to earn this award this year.

In his career, Verrier has played in 45 games over the last three years for the Hawks, compiling 17 points (5-12=17).

Verrier and the rest of the men's ice hockey team return to the friendly confines of Sullivan Arena for a pair of NE10 contests against Stonehill. The first game is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 11 at 7 p.m. as part of Alumni Weekend.
