Men's tennis swept by Stonehill, 9-0

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Saint Anselm College men's tennis team remains in search of its first victory of the 2017-18 season after falling to Stonehill by a 9-0 score on Monday at the USTA National Training Center.

The Hawks fall to 0-6 on the season while Stonehill moves to 5-3 overall on the year.

The duo of Brian Kavanagh and Alex Pearson had the closest doubles result for Saint Anselm, ultimately falling at No. 3 doubles by an 8-5 margin. Eric Howes battled Stonehill's number one entrant, Thomas Bellio, to a 6-2, 7-6 (7-3) result following a tiebreaker in the second stanza.

Saint Anselm will take on NCAA Division III Ursinus on Tuesday, Mar. 6 at the Oak Street Park Community Center in Kissimmee. The match will begin at 8 a.m.
