MANCHESTER, N.H. – Freshman Ethan Hall (Duxbury, Mass.) of the Saint Anselm College men's tennis team picked up a win at No. 2 singles in Wednesday's 6-1 loss to Post University.

The Hawks fall to 0-5 on the year while Post improves to 2-1 following the non-conference contest.

Hall secured the 6-4, 7-5 victory at No. 2 singles for Saint Anselm, his second of the season in the second singles flight. Classmate Michael Rosen (Andover, Mass.) battled his counterpart at No. 1 singles, but ultimately fell by a 6-3, 2-6, 10-8 result.

Rosen and senior Daniel Kmetz (Amston, Conn.) had a lengthy bout at No. 2 doubles but fell by a 7-5 decision, giving Post its first point of the match following a No. 3 doubles forfeit by the Hawks.

Saint Anselm hosts Southern New Hampshire on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 4 p.m. in a Queen City Cup fixture.
