Men's tennis falls to Division I foe Holy Cross, 7-0

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm men's tennis team lost to Division I opponent The College of the Holy Cross, 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference contest.


Senior Daniel Kmetz (Amston, Conn.) and freshman Richard Flandreau (New Fairfield, Conn.) battled tough at No. 2 doubles, falling to Matthew Slowinski and Peter Campito by a score of 7-5.

At No. 4 singles, sophomore Sam Kluger (Nashua, N.H.) forced a tie-break in the first set, before falling 7-5 (12-10). Campito won the second set, 6-4. In the second singles flight, freshman Ethan Hall (Duxbury, Mass.) played tough against Alexander Ruenhorst in a 6-4, 6-2 setback. 

Saint Anselm hosts Southern New Hampshire University on Friday, Oct. 19 at 4 p.m.
