Men's tennis posts 7-0 defeat at Bentley

WALTHAM, Mass. – The Saint Anselm College men's tennis team lost a 7-0 contest against Bentley University on Wednesday afternoon in a Northeast-10 Conference tilt.

The Hawks fall to 0-14 overall and 0-6 against NE10 opponents while the Falcons improve to 9-4 overall and 2-0 in league play. Saint Anselm hosts Assumption on Saturday, Apr. 6 at 11 a.m.

The duo of freshman Michael Rosen (Andover, Mass.) and senior Daniel Kmetz (Amston, Conn.) lost a close match at No. 1 doubles against Connor Aulson and Michael Fuca. The tandem went on to win the match by a 7-5 score.

Kmetz lost a close match at No. 4 singles. The first set ended with a 6-4 final in favor of Nicholas Hatcher while the two battled to a 6-4 score in the second set, which went to Hatcher.

Freshman Ethan Hall (Duxbury, Mass.) dropped a close match at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-3, against Dylan Granat while sophomore Sam Kluger (Nashua N.H.) fell in a two-set match at No. 3 singles, 6-2, 6-2.
