Galasso leads Men’s Cross Country at James Earley Invite

WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Saint Anselm College men's cross country team finished 33rd at the 21st annual James Earley Invitational held at Stanley Park in Westfield, Mass. on Saturday afternoon.


Freshman Anthony Galasso was the top finisher for the Hawks as he finished 164th with a time of 28:38.28. Nate Shannon finished the 8K race in a time of 29:25.56 to finish 218th, while Adam Pakalnis posted a time of 29:40.01 to finish in 232nd.

Brian Stankiewicz finished with a time of 30:11.25 which was good for a 267th place finish, with Timothy Stap adding a time of 30:24.91 to finish 284th. Joe Moran added a time of 32:32.36, while Joseph Capuzzo ran the race in 36:06.47.

The Hawks return to action on Oct. 22 when they travel to Easton, Mass. for the Northeast-10 Championships starting at 11 a.m.
