Men's cross country races at National Catholic Invitational

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Saint Anselm College men's cross country team participated at the 40th-annual National Catholic Invitational on Friday, posting a 13th place finish out of 18 programs.


Saint Anselm posted 383 team points and was led by freshman Cole Corcoran (Braintree, Mass.) and his 8K time of 28:11.94, placing 128th in the field of 228 athletes. Sophomore Jordan Cook (Biddeford, Maine) crossed the line in 29:01.91 with junior Anthony Galasso (Reading, Mass.) posting a time of 29:38.21 to round out the top three finishers for Saint Anselm.

Senior Adam Pakalnis (Waterbury, Conn.) and sophomore Ben Sweesy (Merrimack, N.H.) rounded out the top-five scorers for the Hawks, recording times of 29:41.26 and 30:17.64, respectively.
