Men's cross country races at Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup

HOPKINTON, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College men's cross country team posted an eighth-place finish at the sixth-annual Bruce Kirsh Cross Country Cup on Saturday at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds. The Hawks posted a score of 255, placing eighth in the field of 11 programs.


Junior Anthony Galasso (Reading, Mass.) and sophomore Jordan Cook (Biddeford, Maine) placed 39th and 40th, respectively, with times of 27:02.2 and 27:06.5. Sophomore Ben Sweesy (Merrimack, N.H.) posted a 63rd place time of 28:01.7 with seniors Adam Pakalnis (Waterbury, Conn.) and Nathaniel Shannon (Plymouth, Mass.) rounding out the scoring for the Hawks.

Freshman Patrick Hodgson (Falmouth, Mass.) and sophomore Adam Scott (Groton, Mass.) rounded out the Hawks participation in the race.

Saint Anselm heads to the very same course, the Hopkinton Fairgrounds, on Sunday, Nov. 4 to compete at the Northeast-10 Conference Championship. The women's race will begin at 12:15 p.m.
