    Easton, Mass. (June 24) -- Saint Anselm senior men's lacrosse player Kevin DeBenedetto (Reading, Mass.) and junior softball player Liz Trafton (Berwick, Maine) have been named to the 2010 Northeast-10 Conference Spring All-Academic Teams, as announced by the Northeast-10 Conference office.

    Easton, Mass. (May 5) -- Saint Anselm senior Moira McCabe (Brookline, N.H.) and junior Jackie Giannino (Beverly, Mass.) have been named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Softball Second Team, as announced by the league office. The teams were voted on by the league's head coaches.

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – Moira McCabe set records for both stolen bases and at-bats in a single season, stealing her 16th base and taking her 153rd at-bat in today’s doubleheader against the Southern Connecticut Owls. Nonetheless, the Owls were too much for the Hawks, winning 5-0 and then 8-2.

    Manchester, N.H. (May 1) -- On Saturday afternoon, the Saint Anselm softball team dropped a pair of games to first-place and No. 11 nationally-ranked University of New Haven in Northeast-10 play. The Hawks fell in game one by a 3-0 final and dropped game two, 10-2, in five innings.

    Easton, Mass. (April 29) -- Saint Anselm blasted out 12 hits and six first-inning runs in a 9-1 victory in game before dropping a 2-1 final to Stonehill on a windy Thursday afternoon. The split leaves the Hawks at 18-22 overall and 11-15 in the Northeast-10 with four regular-season games remaining.

    Worcester, Mass. (April 25) -- In game one at Assumption on Sunday afternoon, Saint Anselm took a 6-5 victory as Hawks sixth-year head coach Greg Joseph picked up his 100th career victory at Saint Anselm. The Hawks dropped game two by a 4-3 final as the Greyhounds earned the split.
  • Yellow Jacket Pitchers Overwhelm Hawks in Sweep

(April 24) -- On Saturday afternoon, the Saint Anselm softball team ran into two outstanding starting pitchers who combined for 26 strikeouts and just five hits allowed as American International swept the Hawks by finals of 4-0 and 4-1 in the Northeast-10 play at Judy Groff Field.

(April 23) -- After dropping a heartbreaking 1-0 final to Pace in game one on Friday afternoon, the Hawks fell by a 5-1 margin in the second game as the Setters swept the twinbill from Saint Anselm. The games mark the first of three straight doubleheaders for the Hawks this weekend.

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm softball team jumped up three spots in the NE-10 standings this afternoon with a sweep of Saint Michaels. The Hawks defeated the Purple Knights, 14-4 in five innings in game one, and followed it with a 9-4 victory in game two.

    Manchester, N.H. (April 13) -- In a pair of close games on Tuesday afternoon, the Saint Anselm softball team was swept by crosstown rival Southern New Hampshire by scores of 5-3 and 3-2. Saint Anselm falls to 13-15 overall and 6-8 in Northeast-10 Conference play with the pair of losses.

    Easton, Mass. (April 12) -- Saint Anselm junior Kayla McEachern (Stoneham, Mass.) has been named as the Northeast-10 and ECAC Division II Softball Player of the Week for her play during the week ending April 11th. This is the first Northeast-10 weekly honor for McEachern this season.

    Syracuse, N.H. (April 11) -- After dropping a heartbreaking 9-8 final in game one on a walkoff two-run home run, Saint Anselm rebounded to down Le Moyne by a 10-4 final in game two to gain a split on Sunday afternoon in Northeast-10 Conference action.
  • Hawks Blast 24 Hits in Road Sweep at Saint Rose

    Albany, N.Y. (April 10) -- Blasting 24 hits in two games on Saturday afternoon, the Saint Anselm softball team swept Saint Rose by finals of 12-4 and 8-6 to improve to 12-12 overall and 5-5 in Northeast-10 play. Saint Rose is now 3-17 overall and 1-9 in the Northeast-10.

    Rindge, N.H. (April 8) -- After Franklin Pierce took game on by a 6-5 final on an eighth-inning, walkoff homer, Saint Anselm gained the split with a 6-3 victory in the second game. The split is the third straight for the Hawks in Northeast-10 play.

    Old Westbury, N.Y. (March 21) -- On Sunday afternoon, the Saint Anselm softball team dropped a pair of non-league games to NYIT by finals of 11-10 and 16-3 to drop to 7-7 overall on the season. The Hawks return to action next Tuesday at Franklin Pierce.

    Clermont, Fla. -- Saint Anselm closed out the NTC Spring Games with a trio of wins on the final day of play at in Clermont, Florida. The Hawks opened the day with a 5-0 win over Cedarville, followed by an 8-7 and 17-8 sweep of Dominican College.

    Clermont, Fla. (February 28) -- On day one of the NTC Spring Games in Florida, the Saint Anselm softball team opened with a 1-2 showing in a three-game opening day. The Hawks took game one by a 5-3 final before falling to Tampa and Michigan-Dearborn in the other two games.
