After all three student-athletes received National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-East Region First Team honors last week, Bickford and Thompson landed spots on the D2CCA All-East Region First Team, while Perry was a Second Team choice. Bickford collected her second all-region honor from the organization after being a Second Team selection last spring, while Perry and Thompson were honored for the first time by the D2CCA.

In her senior season, Bickford has started all 50 games for Saint Anselm in center field and as the team's leadoff hitter. She leads the Northeast-10 Conference in hits (77) and is second in both batting average (.410) and doubles (14), while ranking fifth in runs (38) and seventh in on-base percentage (.431). The 77 hits this season are a school record for Bickford, who has 25 multi-hit games to her credit and has hit safely in 43 of her 50 games this spring.

The four-time All-NE10 selection is Saint Anselm's all-time leader in career hits (226) and currently sits second in batting average (.390) and total bases (260), fifth in on-base percentage (.414) and sixth in runs scored (91). Her totals of 14 doubles, 93 total bases and 38 runs, as well as her .410 batting average, all rank in the top five in the school's single-season record book.

As a sophomore, Thompson has been her team's primary designated player, recording a .362 batting average while scoring 42 times and driving in 24 runs in 46 games. Within the NE10, she ranks tied for second in runs (42), seventh in batting average (.362), tied for 10th in hits (55) and 10th in stolen bases (12). Thompson was one of four student-athletes to bat better than .400 in NE10 games this season, ranking third at .404.

An All-NE10 selection in both of her seasons on the Hilltop, Thompson is batting .345 through 75 career games with 82 hits, 54 runs and 41 RBI to her credit. Her 42 runs scored this season rank second-most in a single season at Saint Anselm, while her 55 hits are fourth-best. Thompson is batting an even .400 over the last 21 games as the Hawks have gone 19-2 since Apr. 8.

Perry has set Saint Anselm's single-season record for victories this spring with a 21-4 record, while posting a 1.78 ERA and 155 strikeouts in 145.2 innings of work. In her sophomore season, Perry ranks second in the NE10 in wins (21), fourth in ERA (1.78), fourth in strikeouts (155), fifth in strikeouts per seven innings (7.45), seventh in innings pitched (145.2) and 10th in complete games (14). Perry, who has lost just once in her last 12 starts, has seven shutouts to her credit this season among her 14 complete games.

In 48 appearances for the Hawks, Perry is 26-14 with a 2.54 ERA and 205 strikeouts in 245.0 innings in the circle, ranking in the program's top 10 in shutouts (10), opponent batting average (.258), strikeouts per seven innings (5.86), ERA (2.54), wins (26) and strikeouts (205). She appeared in all three of her team's games at last week's NCAA Division II East 2 Regional, going 2-0 with a save while posting a 1.31 ERA and 23 strikeouts over 16.0 innings.

Saint Anselm (39-10-1) hosts LIU Post (38-17) in the Super Regionals of the 2018 NCAA Division II Softball Championship later this week. Game one of the best-of-three series is set for 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 17.
