MANCHESTER, N.H. - Due to the anticipated inclement weather on Friday afternoon, Saint Anselm College and the Northeast-10 Conference have announced that Friday's semifinal round of the league's softball championship will begin at 10 a.m.
Saint Anselm and Adelphi have earned byes to the semifinal round as the top seeded programs from their respective divisions. New Haven snuck past Merrimack on Thursday in the quarterfinal game played on the Hilltop, using a walk-off home run to down the Warriors. Pace upset Southern New Hampshire in a game played in Hooksett, N.H., securing a 3-1 win.
The Hawks will battle New Haven at 10 a.m. and that game will be followed by the Pace/Adelphi tilt with the winner of each game playing for the NE10 tournament title on Saturday at high noon.
