Tayla Trask '15 is in her fifth season on the Saint Anselm College softball coaching staff in 2020 and has spent the last four seasons as the Hawks' pitching coach.
Since joining Saint Anselm, Douilllette has helped the Hawks to new heights. The Hawks have made three appearances in the NCAA Division II Tournament and won the 2018 NCAA Division II East Region Championship, earning the program its first appearance at the NCAA Division II Championship in Salem, Va. Dating back to the start of the 2018 campaign, the Hawks own a dominant record of 85-23-1 (.784).
Trask joined the coaching staff after a standout four-year career on the Hilltop from 2011-15. She made 93 appearances for the Hawks, including 77 starts, and went 45-33 with four saves. Trask posted a 1.88 ERA in 540.2 innings in the circle, striking out 510 batters and tossing 64 complete games.
She was a Second Team All-NE-10 selection during her junior and senior seasons, as well as a Daktronics All-East Region Second Team pick as a junior after going 16-7 with a 0.98 ERA in 23 starts in 2013-14.
Trask graduated in 2015 with a degree in natural science and is a nursing student at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS). She currently lives in Manchester.
