MANCHESTER, N.H. – Saint Anselm College women's ice hockey junior Kaley Campbell (Colchester, Vt.) was named New England Women's Hockey Alliance (NEWHA) Player of the Week, as announced on Tuesday.
Campbell helped the Hawks go 2-0-0 over the weekend with a series sweep against Post University. She posted four points with three goals and an assist.
During a 10-0 victory on Friday, Jan. 25, Campbell scored twice in the contest. She scored the sixth goal of the game at the 6:28 mark of the second period, before scoring with just over a minute gone in the third period for the ninth goal of the game. In an 8-0 win on Saturday, Jan. 26, she scored with 8:03 gone in the third period to make it 6-0, before providing the secondary assist on the Hawks' seventh goal of the game midway through the final period.
On the year, Campbell has compiled 19 points on 11 goals and eight assists. She is second on the team in goals and is tied for second on the team in points. She has also scored a power play goal.
In her career, Campbell has played in 73 games with 28 goals and 33 assists for 61 points. She has seven career power play goals and two game-winning goals.
Campbell and the rest of the Hawks play Salem State on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 7 p.m. from Sullivan Arena.
