    EASTON, MASS. -- The women's tennis team took on the second-seeded Stonehill Skyhawks this afternoon in the NE-10 Quarterfinals. The Skyhawks, who are ranked fifth in the NCAA II East Region rankings, dominated in the competition, winning the first five matches that finished.

The Hawks took an early lead, but the Falcons won the final four matches in a row to take a 6-3 victory in the Hawks' final home match of the season.

    WORCESTER, MASS. -- The Saint Anselm women's tennis team concluded a three-match road trip this afternoon with a 7-2 rout of the Assumption Greyhounds. The win jumps the Hawks into a three-way tie for fifth place in the NE-10 with a 7-4 overall and conference record.

    Alexandra Lawrence was named NE-10 Freshman of the Week this afternoon. Lawrence went undefeated this week, winning her singles and doubles matches at Pace on Thursday. She currently leads the Hawks in singles wins, with a 4-2 record.

    MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm men’s and women’s tennis teams hosted the Merrimack Warriors this afternoon for their first tournament of the spring. The Merrimack men made out with a 9-0 victory, but the Saint Anselm women picked up the win, 5-4.

    The Saint Anselm men and women's tennis teams hosted the Adelphi Unversity Panthers in the 2009-2010 season home opener. The Panthers blanked the Hawks, winning both matches, 9-0. The Hawk men are now 1-1 (1-1 NE-10) and the women are 0-2 (0-2 NE-10).

    Colchester, Vt. (October 17) -- The Saint Anselm tennis teams split a season-opening match with Saint Michael's on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks fell in women's play by an 8-1 final before defeating the Purple Knights, 6-3, in the men's match.
