Adelphi Gets Past Women’s Tennis, 7-2

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm College women's tennis team won a pair of defaults, but was beaten by Adelphi University, 7-2, Friday afternoon at the Saint Anselm Outdoor Tennis Courts.

The Hawks dip to 0-2, 0-2 NE-10, while the Panthers improve to 2-0, 1-0 NE-10.

Senior April Regan (Berlin, Conn.) and sophomore Katie Roberts (So. Windsor, Conn.) captured their No. 3 doubles slot and junior Courtney Russell (No. Reading, Mass.) was victorious at No. 6 singles.

The Hawks' Saturday (11 a.m.) match at home against Southern New Hampshire University has been rescheduled for Thursday, Sept. 18 at 3 p.m. They return to action Sunday, Sept. 14 at noon when they travel to take on the University of New Haven.
