Women’s Tennis Defeated, 7-2, at Le Moyne Despite Pair of Perkins Wins

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Freshman Jess Perkins (Shrewsbury, Mass.) won a pair of matches, but the Saint Anselm College women's tennis team fell to Le Moyne College, 7-2, on Sunday morning at the Skytop Tennis Courts.

The Hawks fall to 4-5 on the season and in Northeast-10 play, while the Dolphins improve to 6-6, 5-4 NE-10.

Perkins was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at No. 1 singles against Rithika Vaijiravelu and then teamed with classmate Ashley Sulkin (Ipswich, Mass.) for an 8-2 victory against Vaijiravelu and Amica Benoit-Limosani at No. 1 doubles.
