BEVERLY, Mass. – Freshman Jess Perkins (Shrewsbury, Mass.) won both her matches, but the Saint Anselm College women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 non-conference decision to Gordon College on Friday evening in its season finale at Bass River Tennis Club.

The Hawks wrap up their season at 4-9 overall, while the Fighting Scots improve to 10-9.

Perkins combined with classmate Meghan Golden (Scituate, Mass.) to post an 8-3 doubles victory against Tawnie Yeaw and Sophie Linnell at No. 1 doubles before cruising to a 6-0, 6-0 triumph over Yeaw at No. 1 singles.
