Women's tennis caps NE10 slate at Adelphi

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – The Saint Anselm College women's tennis team wrapped up its fall slate of matches on Saturday, falling to Adelphi by a 6-1 score.

The Hawks end the fall portion of the 2019-20 schedule with a 3-10 record and a 1-9 mark against Northeast-10 Conference foes. Adelphi moves to 9-2 on the year.

The lone point for Saint Anselm came via default at No. 6 singles. Freshman Anastasia Kapothanasis (Westbrook, Maine) went the distance at No. 2 singles, overcoming a first set loss with a 7-5 result to force the decisive last set which was dropped, 10-6.
